Sunday 25 June 2000 you could hear The Danish Concert Band in The Netherlands Radio 4 playing music by Søren Hyldgaard. The weekly programme Zin in Muziek played several tracks from our cd The Scandinavian Connection. See the programme notes.

Carsten Svanberg will be member of the jury in the 11th Concorso Internazionale 4 through 9 December 2000. In the presentation of Carsten Svanberg our cd Trombone Concepts is mentioned.

At Mystery Man Records you find a used specimen of one of our LP's with music by Erik Norby and Launy Grøndal. You can by it for DKK 50 (but you might prefer to buy this and all the other LP's directly from us at our concerts for DKK 25 each - unused).

Summer 1999, The Danish Concert Band was touring in Belgium, Luxembourg, and France. The announcement of one of concerts is still on the Internet: Cambrai 3 July 1999.

The Danish Concert Band published its 10th CD in June 1999. See OH Musicís announcement of the new CD.


World Association of Symphonic Bands and Ensembles is frequently arranging major conferences, where orchestras from all over the world give 1 hour-concerts. In 1997, The Danish Concert Band was invited and performed with a programme including Danish music and with Carsten Svanberg and Jens Bjørn-Larsen as soloists. We are mentioned on their photo page.
